After having reviewed the server's logs of user IP's (kept for internal reasons). Review of your IP shows Zip-News.com page views for today only (from 6:08 am to 6:14 am). Your page views consisted of our Home page: Zip-News.com, our About Page: About.aspx , our View Comments Page: ViewComments.aspx, and then finally our Comment Page: Comments.aspx To better answer your question. we would require additional details or more specific issues relating to your concern. With this, we would be able to better provide you a more detailed response.

Zip-News does not offer a "news window that will appear on your homepage and begin to read the news..." It is most likely the result of a viewed link that offered to make changes to your home page... Always answer no! These typically are offered or presented by sites who want to provide their users with a quick link to (or back to) their resources... Usually these can be "un-subscribed" to, or simply be removed by resetting your browser's settings back to their original default settings. Every Zip-News resource link provided is visited, verified, and previewed, before it is added to the Zip-News database. These are then revisited, re-verified, and re-reviewed, every 30 days for the purpose of maintaining the highest quality as possible list of primary online resources. Any specific resources that are found to be obsolete, harmful, or no longer part of this effort, are removed from the Zip-News database... Zip-News uses Microsoft Security Essentials available at: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download It provides real time protection while you are using the internet, it utilizes very little system resources, and protects personal files from Malicious software.

I will go out of my way to avoid websites of those who have ads or other videos automatically begin playing on websites that I visit, such as yours. If I want to watch your video, I'll search it out. Otherwise, LEAVE ME ALONE!! Such automatically opening ads do nothing but aggravate me & make me dislike you all the more. It will be a cold day in ... before I use your website or watch anything you have to offer.

Zip-News does not use flash "pop-ups" anywhere in the design of it's online content. Any ads encountered while using the Zip-News resource links are those actually presented by the resource or the content provider itself, each owned, operated, and controlled by its' respective owner. Agreed these are most certainly annoying, but are unfortunately a necessary (and unavoidable) part of the overall process. Thank you for taking the time needed to provide this input, it does help with the overall design efforts.
